We’ve had the pleasure of working with Dave and his team at Malamar Construction since 2020 on several projects, and every experience has been exceptional. From a full house renovation to transforming an attic into a beautiful primary bedroom and bathroom, their expertise and dedication have always shone through. They also completed a stunning restoration of the main floor of a historic home, carefully preserving the plaster ceilings and hardwood floors while adding a gorgeous new kitchen and bathroom. Most recently, they built a fully equipped granny suite in a three-car garage, complete with a kitchen and bathroom.​

 We had a contractor confirmed five months before the construction of our basement bathroom. Unfortunately, the contractor bailed on us one month before the start date. However, fortunately, we found Malamar, the best of the other five contractors, who could start the project sooner than the others. The team was very professional from the quote visit until to help with a problem in the cabinet we bought directly from a big store. It showed the care for the customer and the sureness to deliver a great result.

We've had 4 jobs done by Malamar, and all the team members, from office staff, the estimator and the work crew & owners were professional, considerate and listened to our questions. We were very pleased with all of their work. Always a pleasure to deal with.

We met with 7 different contractors for quotes on a basement reno. Malamar was the only company that showed up on time, and they had the best price. They were also happy to work with us on a few unexpected hiccups, and advise on future projects. Great experience.

Malamar Construction is more than a business enterprise with a stellar reputation, it is a company with a heart! They converted my carpeted staircase into beautiful hardwood stairs, as well as installing hardwood on the landing and matching the existing stain perfectly. Dave and employees were very easy to work with, accommodating every particular request I had. A big thank you to the entire Malamar family who are lovely people!
